19. My father passed after a life long struggle with addiction a few years ago and it would have been his birthday a few days ago. "His death honestly felt like it came out of nowhere…and yet I had been mourning him for years" no one has ever explained this pain I feel more accurately. I feel like I've been mourning him my whole life and maybe I always will but this song means a lot, thank you for writing it <3
