We humans are all murders (directly or indirectly). Animals being tortured in slaughterhouses. Animals captured and kept at zoo for entertainment of humans(minks). Fishes ,dolphins and orcas(fishmen and mermaids) captured for entertainment of humans. We humans treat other species like objects, not living beings. We treat them like slaves. We torture and kill them. Even though this planet belongs to all living creatures, we humans consume all the resources coz we are powerful. We are all racists. And then those humans who are rich and powerful(celestial dragons), they discriminate against other inferior humans(common people).
Now we all know that why Moon & Sun are so important in the series. After recent manga events I think Oda is a liar right under our noses. That panel where the Skypeia girl says “It’s hard for people from the blue sea to understand,” is a similar lie like Luffy telling Momo “ Idk I’m not a Zoan.” If you assume Luffy wants to go to the moon as his dream, and the fact that she’s talking about returning to the moon, the irony is that they’re both talking about the same thing.
